Dealer Labor Reimbursement
Authorized STACYC dealers are expected to offer labor services on all STACYC bikes. Below are some of the scenarios that your dealership might encounter and how those should be handled with the customer and STACYC.
Approved Warranty Claims
Dealers should perform all labor associated with approved warranty claims at no charge to the customer. STACYC will provide replacement parts free of charge for approved warranty claims. Dealers are eligible for warranty labor trade credit per the below rates ($65 maximum per claim) for the installation of warrantied parts. Dealer must submit the below Warranty Labor Reimbursement form within 30 days of performing the work.
Approved Extended Warranty Claims
STACYC’s Extended Warranty policy provides replacement parts at no charge on approved claims, however does not provide labor support. Dealers will not be reimbursed for labor associated with extended warranty claims. If desired, dealers shall bill the customer at an appropriate labor rate, taking into consideration the retail pricing and simplicity of STACYC bikes.
Non-Approved Warranty and Extended Warranty Claims
Dealers will not be reimbursed for labor associated with claims deemed to be outside of STACYC’s warranty and extended warranty policies. If desired, dealers shall bill the customer at an appropriate labor rate, taking into consideration the retail pricing and simplicity of STACYC bikes.
Service
Dealers will not be reimbursed for labor associated with general service or maintenance performed. Dealers shall bill the customer at an appropriate labor rate, taking into consideration the retail pricing and simplicity of STACYC bikes.
